Nucleus herd – Nötcenter Viken

Every year, we test 200 selected heifers for the traits: yield, fertility, udder health, other health traits, calving ease, birth index, mammary system, feet and legs, and longevity in our nucleus herd Nötcenter Viken in Sweden. Only the best heifers become elite donor cows. Embryos are sold mainly to farmers in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Some are also produced for worldwide export.
